Linea Micra will be well packaged, with plastic bands holding the small pallet and box all together

This is how it was delivered:

The white plastic straps hold the solid bottom to the cardboard surround. Once you cut the straps, the top lifts off. The espresso machine and accessories are held in cardboard bento-box style enclosures. The small box on top isn't part of the official package; that contained a reusable strap for shipping to the next reviewer.

A freight company delivered a mini pallet with the box firmly attached with plastic straps.

Could you lift it alone, or did it require assistance?

I dragged the pallet into the garage, opened the box, and lifted the Micra without assistance.

I will add: the pallet isn't all that heavy in the grand scheme of things...maybe 50 pounds? But it's *just* large/awkwardly sized enough that it's tough for a single person to carry for long. OTOH there's a handle on each end, so easy for 2 people.

As the other commenter said, the machine itself is compact enough for a single person to lift and carry. It weighs 44 pounds so that's for you to judge.

Hey Dan,

Not knowing your daily coffee routine, I was wondering if you had a chance to use the Micra on a daily basis, or was your time with it limited to just testing various features? I saw your video and was quite impressed with the output, but that was a controlled setting.

I noticed in your video that the water tank cap was missing, maybe it was lost during transport of the Micra from reviewer to reviewer?

Any chance we can see how the plumbing bits are connected? How far does the drain line go before sinking through your counter?
