Oh no, not them too! In early November I sent a $500 Predator Revo cue shaft to the authorized repair center via USPS, luckily insured, as I am now waiting for my settlement check as it never got theregoalerjones wrote:If they use UPS to ship, there's always a chance they're gonna destroy the 500 before it even gets to you, so you wouldn't have to pay for shipping it back as a damage claim...happened to my first Vetrano.

Literally just arrived 10 minutes ago!Abecker wrote:Did your 500 come in yet?
I decided to stick with the 500. I don't really have a great reason as to why, but feel like I will use the e61 group for a while to get my technique better, and then maybe one day I'll upgrade to a LMLM style machine.
Appreciate everyone's responses - very helpful.

Where were you two last week? lol.BillF wrote:I decided it was well worth the extra money for the consistency and convenience of the PID DB machine, plus the other features.

you might want to pull off the back and do an inspection to make sure all the tubes, wires and fittings are connected properly. They can loosen during shipping and cause problems once ur up and running. We found that the Gicar had come loose as well as some of the connections. Plus it will get you used to taking it apart so you can be more familiar with the process when you need to make adjustments. WLL has walk thru videos on their site to show you how.
