I'm pleased with the Key and its ability to be kind of a full-range grinder. Lights exclusively- probably a flat is better.

The second-hand market really has opened up, of late. The Monoliths have been more available second-hand so maybe just keep your eyes open and jump at something.

I have a Ceado E37SD with SSP HU burrs for now. Purchased since I've had other 64mm (Mignon XL, Mahlkonig E65s) and wanted to try larger burrs. Also wasn't interested in DF grinders at all. Even though most seem to enjoy them. Or rather justify purchasing them. Happy for now. Ceado does well with all roast levels, however I stay more towards medium/lights. I also have an MC4 for darker/decaf.

@Jeff - you said that the Atom 75 is not a "modern flat" grinder. Could you please explain by what is meant by the term "modern flat"? Obviously the Atom is a flat burr grinder, but what makes a flat burr set "modern"? Does it refer to the cutting edges/etc that folks who prefer light roasts use?

The Atom 75 isn't designed, specifically, for single dosing, but it's not horrible at single dosing. Perhaps I'm a little loose on what I consider a good attempt at single dosing.

This seems like a great option. How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking Capuchin Monk? IIRC, I think there has been a price bump on aliexpress for this. I don't recall it being as expensive as this when I looked the last time (now sits at ~$1300usd). I couldn't find any other listings for it either.

I bought it from Alibaba, not Aliexpress. They are similar but not same (Aliexpress price is higher for this grinder). Mine was around $900 including shipping.

This one I believe is ships from Singapore I think. Under $900. Curious on what people think of it. Specifically alignment

How legit is that site? No company info shown.

I've gotten some stuff from them on Etsy. Not a grinder.
