You could get another Encore and resell it later. Or what I would do (and do when I travel) is use a Krups blade grinder. I made coffee daily with a Melita #2 and blade grinder for many years. If you have fresh beans, it's a pretty good cup of coffee. Grind pretty fine and shake the grinder a bit!
