Hi all - what short (~2"/51mm or less in height, if that even exists) porcelain espresso cups do you use? I can't find any so far. Context is, the Strietman CT-1 is a little short in the area of height, as the man said, when it comes to clearance from the PF to the drip tray - hard to see the pour with normal cups.

thanks,
-PG

Kinto Oct! https://kintostore.com/products/oct-cup-saucer
They are my favorite, so much they have replaced all the ones I owned.

Oh - nice, thank you - these might do, I was thinking more in the thick porcelain 'cafe style' but this has an interesting and different feel. On the list!

cheers,

Heath Ceramics also has several options. The shortest being their small ramekin. I have several of these, and several of their espresso cups as well.

Try sake cups. There are so many styles in sizes from one ounce up that you'll probably find many to love. For example, MTC Kitchen has a nice collection for a lot less than most espresso cups cost.

Here is a very cost effective option, I have the the 3 ounce and the 4.5ounce. The 3 ounce height fits your bill, the 4.5 too tall.

For a little more costly option check out the notneutral line up. Most of their espresso cups are about 2" tall...

Thanks! Lino cups are definitely on my list - I have a couple of Not Neutral things and I've been eyeing the espresso cups as well. I think the small Illy espresso cups will also work, and I found these as well - not cheap either - they *look* pretty short at least - https://www.wholelattelove.com/set-of-2 ... resso-cups

Plus, I mean, "The slanted cup rim directs your espresso beneath your tongue to fully embrace the complexity of your shot." Espresso-directing cups, how can I go wrong?

The Inker espresso are close @2.14 inches. Espresso parts stocks them. Still too tall? My favorite cafe uses them. They are nice and hefty.
