It appears I must replace this well used machine and am considering the Vetrano 2B. My machine gets used a fair amount daily but I also have tea drinkers that drain the boiler. Are there any other suggestions for my purchase out there? I have been out of the loop since I purchased my beloved Andreja. I use direct connect only with RO filtered water

Sounds like you've been happy with Andreja. What's wrong with your Andreja that it can't be fixed for far less than a new machine?

I've just stepped up to the Vetrano 2B from the Anita: the rotary pump, the PID and the double boiler (which can be selectively shut off) seemed to make the choice very logical for an upgrade for me. But I've had the Anita for nine years, too.

You mention RO water. Are you adding minerals back in?
