My dad is using a Breville Smart grinder with his Lelit Diana, and doesn't have any issues with it, and also uses it for pour over too.

Now as previously said, should he be using it for both, probably not, but he's saving to spend on a great espresso grinder at this time, and put the Smart grinder on pour over duty until he has enough for a more consistent grinder.

Again he hasn't had a single issue with his, and really doesn't mind it, or the espresso grind it can do.

If pourover tastes muddy, a temporary measure can be seiving the fines. Someone posted somewhere here that a short cut way to do that is to put the dry ground coffee on a paper towel. Folding that towel and pouring the grounds into a cup will leave some dust behind.
