Oh man, the old D1 dosing chamber is just the coolest thing...a bit of a pain to "program" but a super novel solution to volumetrics without a flow meter. So cool! Ahh!

Based on @Kolu's response, I would ask both the vendor and mfg to cover the cost of the repair locally. Is there anyone with driving distance? Ask the vendor to help you locate one. Also read your warranty carefully and base your discussion on that. If in the purchase they did not specify you have to return it to them for warranty service, then you have a better position. Also I assumed you used a credit card. Some of them have purchase protection features. Consider those.
