Rancilio Silvia Pro vs Pro X?

I will be upgrading to a dual boiler from a Silvia V3. Anyone have opinions on the Pro X? The additional features seem good. E.g., pressure gauge, variable preinfusion, etc. I have a hold on a new Pro X in black with a free Acaia Lunar scale and no tax. I don't need the scale so I will be selling that to a friend. I do see open box / like new Pros selling for around $1300 - $1400 plus tax so I started considering one of those as an alternative. However, once you add tax to one of those it will put me within $250 - $300 of the Pro X.
Thoughts? Thanks.

I'd consider why there are Silvia Pro units available "open box / like new"
Taking the name of the Silvia onto a new machine, I would have thought to be very successful. At least here, I don't see much discussion of it or "die-hard supporters" as there are with some other less-popular makes and models.
(I have no experience with the Silvia Pro, good or bad. Just a head scratcher for me.)
