Anyone know if the drip tray that incorporates the Acaia Lunar Scale level with the drip tray is available for purchase? Stand alone? Or with purchase with a stainless steel version of the LMLM?

Well I thought I would post here in case anyone else was interested or had feedback. As I thought the concept was cool..but thats fine...next time I'll just google.

Kind of jerky for this forum IMHO...

Its cool I now know how much the tray costs for the espresso machine I dont own... Yet?!?!????

Concept is cool but at $200 ish for the scale and $200 ish for the tray!?!??

Humm... Thats a lot of beans, gaskets... A sette for dare i say...decafe???!?!?


But is pretty cool :D

I think you can buy just the insert and cut your tray yourself if you wish. Part of the reason why it's $$$ is how much LM charge for the tray.

LM replacement parts have always been notoriously high priced unless you are LM certified tech.

I think it's still steep even with 50% off. So $200 is a reasonable since they have to also cut the tray manually.

I don't understand the purpose of this tray? The clearance using the Lunar works fine with the stock drip tray? And what if you are using your scale to weigh your single dosing as well? You would just have to pull it out and reinsert for every shot. :?:
