Need advise -
I have a option to buy for home. (I and my wife espresso and cappuccino lovers - usage about 10 caps per day )
La spaziale S2 EK 1GR machine + La spaziale Astro 12 on demand for 2800$.
1. So what do you think about this deal?
2. What is your opinion about quality of La spaziale as a espresso machine and grinder?
3. Would you recommend to buy a different set for that amount of money.
I am looking to buy machine for next 10 years.
Thank you

For $2800 I think you could get a much more home friendly setup, especially if all you drink are milk+espresso drinks. I think that grinder is a rebranded Macap MXD, which is nice and about $1400 new. If you can snag just the grinder for $800 or less, I'd jump on that and use the rest to buy a nice home machine, either an e61 HX or a Vivaldi variant.

I hear from may guys about the Vivaldi all of them got bad experience after 1-2 years. Electronic board problem which is cast about 400$. and heat exchange problems. So the Vivaldi not good investing if for long term machine.
Do you have a different opinion?
I love to get La Spaziale S5 1gr. But they don't make it any more for US market.

Well, my Vivadi is from '05 and going strong. However, if you're comfortable with the size of a commercial 1 group, the S2 is new, and your comfortable with the seller I don't see much of a reason to look elsewhere.
