Same here, but as the video also shows, the grounds are slightly overflowing.

You can't really tamp given the state, so you need to give it a knock to settle the grounds. I prefer doing that with a dosing ring to avoid spillage, but there's no easy way to do it. Tapping with the WDT part attached leaves holes and removing top half the tool means you can't place it anywhere safe.

I tap it down just once on the portafilter holder and it settles the top down enough to tamp. It's not an issue if I put less grinds in filter basket.
