Went for the stock flat. Thanks for the buying advice everyone! I believe there was no wrong choice.

My deciding factor was I have a conical(lido so nothing crazy) and I liked the aesthetics of the flat. I was thinking I might be wanting the flat if I went with the conical, then would have to be fully crazy and have both :P time will tell!!

Glad to be part of it now, though

I went all black on both, w/ walnut caps. Now I just need to get my GS/3 powder coated black by April and order some walnut trim & panels and I'll be all set.

That sounds amazing, Capitol. What grinder are you currently using with your gs/3. I'm excited to order one of those. Have you been happy with it?

Nvm. I see under your equipment: compak and super jolly. SJ was probably what I was going to go with to be on the cheaper side, but I went all in with the monolith flat. I think the gs3 monolith combo is going to be a pretty amazing home setup.
