Hi, i have Grimac La Uno mini now and i want to buy new espresso machine. I like lever espresso machines. In my selection is:

1. Quick Mill Achille
2. Profitec Pro 800 v,1 or v. 2 (I don't know the difference between v.1 or 2)
3. Bezzera Strega

Which lever espresso machine would you choose? And Why? I like the most Quick Mill Achille. It has rotary pump and PID. I don't know if it is important to have a PID with a lever coffee machine? What is your opinion? I do not know either. Are two springs or one spring better? i expect good reliability.

Thanks

Are you planning on plumbing in? If so, the pump is redundant.

If not, then the Rotary will likely last longer, but on the Achille and the Pro-800 the pump is only used to fill the boiler. So I'm not sure that it really matters.

I think the PID and pump types aren't necessary on commercial style levers, as the thermal management is done by the group head. The PID will make things a bit more accurate, but you'll always have to contend with the impact of the environment (room temp/humidity, etc.).
