Exactly. I have two that are about 15 years old and they look like one more version of the same scale. I have dedicated one to espresso. Small enough to work under my grinder as well. They turn automatically off in 60 seconds but I have learned to keep them "awaken" by touching them every now and then. It has become second nature and I just do it without even realizing it.
And yes, it tollerates drips. Don't ask me how I know it :lol: .
