My current kettle (probably about as old as I am), which came with our boat has developed a pin hole in the bottom. It seems to work well for pouring into the Cafelat Robot basket (even when it's less than calm). So I think I'll still with something similar to this.
The issue is I don't know what this type of spout is called. We use this kettle multiple times per day for everything hot water related. I'm not married to the copper though, stainless (a good grade of stainless) would probably last longer!?

If you have good feelings about using the kettle, you might find someone who can braze the hole closed.
That kind of spout is sometimes called a "gooseneck" spout.

Any manufacturer marks on it? Might still have someone making them.
I see the love it's given you over the years. Nice design of the spout.
If you can't find a similar replacement you might be able to repair it though not being a smith I could not begin to tell you how. Lol

Do you know anyone who does HVAC/Refrigeration service work?
They will have 15% silver brazing rod, nitrogen and a Turbo Torch. Ask them to purge the kettle and braze up the pin hole. Probable take longer to set up than the actual work will take.
