Had mine for about a year,however could not make several shots quick enough when we had guests. So after many months of reading reviews purchased a Vibiemme DB. Great shots and a whole lot of steam when needed.

Aeropress to pumptoy took about a year and a half. (I wasn't terribly serious about coffee at the beginning of that.)
Pumptoy to lever took 8 months. Would have gone straight to lever had the finance board allowed it.

A word to the wise: I didn't listen to the warnings about Silvia from people on this list who know a lot more than I do...
