Is there such a thing? I had a macap for a long time...took up lots of space and then did a Vario...which has been good. But whats a good one for the money?

Have you aligned your Vario? There has been some very high praise of the quality of shots pulled from an aligned Vario in the Alicorn and alignment threads a few posts below this.

following this thread. I've been trying to find a used vario-w for a good price given the flexibility between espresso and pour-over, but would like to see what others suggest as well.

What's better than a Vario? An aligned Vario. $30 to add the two key metal bits from the Forte, and then align it. And aligning it is free.soapboxpreacher wrote:Is there such a thing?
