Especially with the range of burr options now available I bet you would be very happy with an EG-1. I know I am!

It's expensive due to upgrades ordered and paid, I think. As the grinder is not built, you might be able to change it to 110V. You could ask about the other options, as Denis might be able to swap out if he has stock parts.

Actually, it's selling for $145 below list. It has about $645 worth of extra-cost options, almost half of which is the SSP burrs (in my experience, well worth the extra cost.)

I would definitely contact Denis about changing the order to 110 VAC.

Also, I suspect that some of those 50 MAX grinders went to owners of Flats and Conicals who are hanging on to them until their new MAXes arrive. I would expect more used Kafatek grinders to hit the market soon after Denis ships the MAXes.

That was my plan if I'd snagged one.

I'm in the Guelph/Cambridge area, but I'm really looking to move to a flat. Thanks for the offer though, very much appreciated.

I don't know enough about this grinder. Are people successfully using it for single dosing with little/zero retention? Are mods required to achieve this?
