Update to my ordering issues: I asked to switch my order to black as the white was out of stock. They said no problem and shipped it the next day. It was delivered today!

Just got my Mignon Specialita (and Rocket Appartamento) delivered this Monday after some snafu with Fedex (not espressocoffeeshop's fault). Loving both so far, the combination is perfect! Single dosing for now and it's easy to go through the full 18g of beans I put in.

Just ordered specialita as well just now.
Being in Canada, the prices here are 1k with tax.
Ordering from these guys I'm at $600.
Substantial saving.

I went to this site https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voya ... l-eng.html
Plugged in $570 CAD (380 Euros). Chose Ontario, appliance, and made elsewhere (not in N. America)
It shows an estimate of $132.00 CAD for duties and taxes.
So total should be around $700 CAD.
Not sure if the shipping company would also charge brokerage fees, but from what I have read, global shipping rates include those brokerage charges.
I am also curious as to the total cost in CAD landed.

It depend of the carrier. I have huge experience ordering mountain bike parts overseas. Seller have to enter products categories code. Depending of the categories codes tariffs applies or not. The tariffs categories book is 1600 pages :? (https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/trade-comme ... 19-eng.pdf
For mountain bike parts....few exemples
- Complete bike: tariffs
- bicycle parts: NO tariffs
- complete wheel : tariffs
- wheel parts:NO tariff

The best bet is to choose 'local carrier' like Royal mail in the UK. Then the parcel is handle by Canada post in Canada. I rarely pay tariffs with canada post.
3 fees may occurs:
- Tariffs / duties
- Taxes (HST)
- Brokerage fees

Theoretically coffee maker is 9% tariffs, tea maker is 8%, Automatic toaster no tarif. Other toaster tarif 6% ?!?!?! No kidding....
coffee maker is 8516.71.10 00 - - -Coffee makers NMB 9% tariffs.
8516.71.20 00 - - -Tea makers NMB 8%
8516.72 - -Toasters
8516.72.10 00 - - -Automatic NMB Free
8516.72.90 00 - - -Other NMB 6%

I received my UPS tracking number already, one day after ordering, I presume it will cost $150.00 CDN when it lands, still a substantial saving over buying in Canada. ill post the landed price when it arrives.
