Eureka Atom Brew Pro for espresso

Looking at the Eureka brew pro as an option for single dosing espresso. Seems like potentially a good option for EK style shots, but I am seeing some reports that the burr geometry makes it really hard to grind fine enough. Others are saying it works well for espresso. Looking for more opinions.

Any particular reason you're looking at the Brew Pro? It's designed for manual brew, not espresso. If you want a similar design, go for the Specialita with single-dosing hopper.

Are you talking about the Eureka Mignon brew pro or the Eureka Atom Pro?

I'm looking for something to do more EK style espresso. I am also unsure how the difference in single dosing will be since it seems the Brew pro was designed specifically for single dosing.tglodjo wrote:Any particular reason you're looking at the Brew Pro? Haha, yea. Atom Pro will be good. I was wondering how you could look at the Brew Pro (Mignon Specialita with grounds box instead of PF holder) and say it was designed for single-dosing lol.

imn looking for some more information on this grinder re: using it for espresso.
Im considering it, or maybe a K30 vario.
tbh the atoms have great reviews, but I can't stand the look of the screen. I love the look of the atom pro. the helios looks great, but seems like the issue with the clump crusher hasn't been sorted out yet.
I would like to try grinding for espresso with brew/unimodal burrs. if it turns out to be an epic fail, I was trying to gauge whether or not I could just get mythos burrs and put them in the eureka atom pro.
I think most people using this grinder are more focused on v60 it seems though. I would just be using espresso. so while I could swap out the unimodal burrs for mythos burrs, and back and forth. I expect id figure which I like better, and just keep them in there for long periods of time.
I get its a waste of a few hundred bucks to go to the atom pro vs the atom 75. but given that I get a bigger motor, 75mm unimodals and a paint job I like, Im ok to forge the cost.
thanks for any insight people can offer.
