Electric moka pot recommendations?

Hi, first post here and I'm looking for a recommendation on a quality electric moka pot for my daughter who's going off to college. I didn't see a forum specifically for moka pots, so please pardon me if I've posted this incorrectly.

I've looked a bit at them online, the Delonghi in particular, but have no familiarity with electric models.

Anyone with first-hand experience on a quality and reliable model that can make a decent moka espresso, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Many of the "better" techniques with a moka pot involve temperature control. You might be better off with a conventional pot and a hot plate.
