Hello everybody
I am writing the first question here, because there is a lot of information and people who own different coffee makers
I want to buy a real lever for home use with one group
the choice narrowed down to Bosso Sorrento
and MY WAY Izzo updated by Pompei
if someone can help with technical information on these machines, thank you very much
Thanks,
Alex

Alex, can you be more specific about what kind of technical info you're looking for? There's a huge amount of info available in this forum if you do a few searches...

Chances are that Bosco owners will say get the Bosco and Pompei owners will say get the Pompei.

thanks for your reply, John

But what is the difference between Pompei, Valchirie and Izzo?
PID is added?
is there one boiler of coffee and steam?
Thanks,
Alex

That LSM group has an interesting feature that you don't have on the Bosco:espressotime wrote:Double espressoshot on my Pompei.
Here's a Doug Garrot video of a La San Marco 80, where he discusses that valve about 8 minutes in:

Alf - have you ever adjusted that, maybe to tweak preinfusion water debit? Does anyone have an opinion about whether that may be a worthwhile feature?
P.S.
I like the Frank Sinatra background music, goes with the machine's name. But I can't say I like that name or the appearance of that 'MyWay' logo.

The Bosco doesn't have a lever there but it does have an adjustable valve in the same spot that allows you to play with flow. I've tried it at various settings but just ended up going back to Bosco's factory setting.homeburrero wrote:That LSM group has an interesting feature that you don't have on the Bosco:

The biggest functional difference between the 2 machines is the pf size. Bosco uses a 58mm group that accepts a standard E61 screen. This gives you a much greater choice of baskets & screens then the Izzo's 54mm group with a proprietary screen.
