Cost to import an EG-1 grinder into the US

Can anyone give me an idea of the tax, duty etc. due when importing an EG-1 into the US? Weber have told me the shipping will be around $185, but that other fees could be up to 10%!

I paid $200 in fees back in 2019 when I received my EG-1. I got a bill from FedEx about two weeks after it was delivered.

I paid the normal shipping from Weber and then DHL charged me an extra $164.12 for import duty in December 2021. I may eventually get a state tax bill as well if customs reports it to the state.

They needed the original manufacturer address for customs too (even though the info was on the outside of the box) which isn't listed on Weber's page. If you contact Weber they will send it to you right away, but I can send what they sent me over DM too if you need it.

I just received my Key last week and there was no extra charges other than the original shipping. Same goes for the EG1 I bought in 2016.
