Hi All,

Wanting some user experience and recommendation on the following espresso machines I have narrowed down my list to. I have picked the potential espresso machine based on my needs and my budget.
  • ECM Classika PID
  • Lelit Mara X
  • Bezzera BZ10
Could you all please let me know which one would be ideal based on experience?

The usual questions:

Do you make a lot of milk drinks?
How many drinks do you usually make at a time?
What kinds of coffee do you like? Which roasters? How dark or lightly roasted?
What grinder will you pair it with?

1-3 drinks a day

- medium mostly but try dark and light from time to time
What grinder will you pair it with?
- waiting for the Timemore 064s but using the Kingrinder K4 at the moment

No experience with any. I almost grabbed a used bz10 the other day though because the electrically heated group head excites me way more than an e61 does. I wasn't sure if I should have been considering the bezzera duo instead tho. I don't do milk drinks, but I'm not sure how the dual boiler vs heat exchanger would influence the temp of the group head.

Ok good to know.

I've had a Classika. It's very nicely made and the temperature control (and potential to add flow control) means that it makes sublime espresso. Very forgiving. But switching between the brew and steam function is a hassle if you need to make a few milk drinks in a row. I'd choose the Classika over the Mara if my interest was primarily espresso.
I have never used the Mara or BZ10 bit I have a friend with the BZ10 and he loves it. Of the machines you mentioned, it has the fastest heat-up time.

Hi All,
I've done extensive research on the 4 machines below but cannot decide wholly which machine to get there. Wanted to ask everyone if you had to pick a DB machines out of the 4 machines below which would it be based on experience and price point I have provided (Australian $).

PID is a must. Open to suggestion in the price ranges below.

I'm thinking which ever machine I pick it would be a 5-10 years plan.

Rancilio Silvia Pro X - $3000 AUD
Profitec Pro 300 - $2900 AUD
Profitec Pro 600 - $3900 AUD
Lelit Bianca V3 - $4400 AUD

Thanks
