I'm excited to have an ACS Vostok on the way. I'm wondering if people could give me input on accessory recommendations for this machine. I am located in Los Angeles. So far this is what I have:

Portafilter basket

The 54mm The Force tamper apparently works as well.
I'm not sure about a tamping station yet, but I will want something.

What configuration are you getting?
I'm waiting on a black back and sides, polished SS front and oak side panels and handles.
There have been some minor delays around the new design on the base but it should all happen soon.

I'll add The Force tamper as well to the list - I didn't realize they had the size for it.

I'm getting all black, walnut sides and handles. Wife helped me pick so I think we are onto something. It was a hard decision though!

Thank you! For some reason - I couldn't access the FAQ before, but maybe it's because I wasn't logged in. Going to read through this for sure.

That FAQ is an excellent resource! Thanks for putting that together. For someone a little uncomfortable with a direct sale model, seeing the sourcing, maintenance and repair of the machine in such detail really helps.

I have an ACS Evo Leva. I assume you'll get similar stock accessories for your Vostok.

I have a custom sized Bravo tamper designed for the IMS baskets. I don't see them any better than the stock tamper and baskets. The stock tamper fits very well with the stock baskets. Now I only use the stock tamper and baskets. The Bravo tamper and IMS baskets are in the storage bin.

For dosing funnel, I like Orphan Espresso's 53.5mm funnel. The opening is wider than the stock dosing funnel. But you should consider your grinder setup. The stock funnel has magnets and sits nicely on top of the basket. But for my grinder OE's funnel with its wider opening works better.

That's great input! I'm going to try out the stock basket and tamper first if that's the case. I was not aware that it came with a dosing funnel - that's neat!

I do have to figure out my grinder compatibility situation. I have a Versalab M4 with the portafilter holder meant for a 58mm portafilter.
