I've been out of the game for a while and hadn't seen this one. That's a nice looking grinder, but damn, it sure seems like a blatant ripoff of the versalab.

Hi Dan, or anyone that has the OE tamper for the robot. Is the outside diameter of the tamper larger than the stainless steel tamper that is included with the Robot?

It's the same diameter as the OEM tamper. But because the Orphan Espresso tamper is cylindrical, the tamp is always perfectly level. The tamper also has a hole for the pin in the screen. Between their rake and tamper, it's 99.8% idiot-proof.

I wish that I had added the Robot "mittens" to the cart. Now I have to have that, too.

Thanks Dan! I just got the leveling rake in the mail yesterday and am also thinking I wish I added something to my original order, the tamper. From the description on the oe website I thought that the tamper was slightly wider than the OEM.
