So I jumped on the bandwagon - and got two bags.
I used a finer(for me) grind on my bunnzilla and did a FP and a regular brew from oxo brain barista. My espresso machine is out of service until next month sadly.
Given my limited experience - this has been in the top 2 or 3 beans I have tasted.
Prefer the FP Over the oxo but not by much.
A little pricey but in the end worth it to see smile on wife's face

I was pleasantly surprised with the result in the cup with Cat & Cloud's
The Answer blend.
I have been using it for espresso only and love the combo of Central American and African beans.
It is only 10oz, yet it has been worth it!
This is a new favorite! I like that it is complex. Almost like chocolate meets molasses and some slight spice. (I add 1 half teaspoon of sugar to taste.) Smooth with the central American terroir and then complex with the Ethiopean heirloom. Great blend!
Thanks HB'rs for the awesome find!
Cheers!

I ordered some of the Answer yesterday. I wish they'd post on their web site their roast/ship schedule - what days of the week they ship, and when your order needs to be in to make the cut. They said on twitter they are roasting weekly - but that's not super helpful if you're trying to plan for when they're going to arrive.
Anyway, I'm excited to try it!

They were pretty responsive to me when I emailed their main contact email. Might be worth a shot.

I used the contact form on their web site, no response for two days. I'm sure it's just growing pains - they just opened their cafe, so I'm sure they have a lot going on.

When I had ordered last week on a Monday night from their direct web site, later I had emailed them and C&C they told me roasting to send out "Tuesday and Wednesday."
Yet I don't know if it is "every Tuesday and Wednesday."
I didn't go through Amazon.com, instead I went directly through their site.
Nonetheless, the quality was worth the wait!

Do they send you an email when they ship with your tracking info and such, so you know it's on the way?

Hello gr2020,
Yes, they did using USPS Priority 2-day on the shipping once it was shipped.
The email was provided with a standard tracking # which you can then check on USPS.com when it shows the estimated delivery.

Always looking for a new roaster. How dark is this roasted? Acidity?
