Besides Brown Coffee Company, any good cafes in San Antonio? More specifically one that also does good pour overs?

I've had a manual pourover at Local Coffee in San Antonio:

I recall being underwhelmed by the shot I had there, but I think the pourover was fine.

If feels like the coffee scene is really starting to proliferate in San Antonio. So the locals may have more interesting recommendations. I tend to find myself at Brown more often than not. The Broadway location is easiest to get to. But I still like visiting the roastery when I have time.

My thoughts exactly. Local Coffee was much better in the past, but with the huge portion of their clientele into 12 ounce lattes, they moved away from great top-tier roaster-supplied beans and are now roasting their own. They do an okay job, but it's not even close to Brown. Just my opinion.

As David mentions, if possible, go to Brown's original location (roastery).

Just my $.02.
