In the end it was mainly the stale beans, though my pressure did go a little on the high side after I plumbed in the machine.

Very happy now. This is from this morning.

That's a nice shot! Not coffee related, but what gear are you using (photography)? The only thing I have now is a Nikon 70-200, no bodies (I sold my D700 to pay for the Major, looking to get a D800). :/

For this, I pulled out a 5D Mark II and 70-200 2.8. A couple of hensel strobes for light. D800 is a great camera.

I was thinking about switching to Canon, but I am so accustomed to Nikon's system. I also thought about going for a D610, seem like a better option for sports, I doubt the D800's ISO could handle it with all of those Megapixels. (I don't worry about FPS, I don't usually have trigger finger.) Anyways, congrats on the improvement! Glad I'm not the only one who thought something was iffy with Whole Food's beans.
