Hello all,
I am having an issue with my 3 yr old Expobar Office lever.
The pump pressure seems to be drastically fluctuating while brewing (please see video).
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
I contacted the vendor (wholelattelove) and they suggested I buy a new pump kit (includes the pump, deaerator, and OPV valve)and replace all three items myself or have a technician do it.
I would really appreciate any suggestions or feedback
Thank you

I cannot see the video at work, but what you are describing could be one of 3 things. A tired pump that needs replaced, a power issue so when the heater kicks in the pump pressure drops due to lack of power to the pump, or your OPV is sticking or getting week. OPV you can take apart, clean and re adjust, power is easy to ID since the pump up/down pressure cycle will be directly tied to the heating element turning on/off. A worn pump is just a worn pump, they are inexpensive so you junk the old one and put in a new.

Thank you for your response.
Do you have any pointers on how to remove the OPV and clean/reset it. It seems to be all part of the same assembly, including the pump and deairater

can anyone confirm if the whine in the video is pump noise?
