Sorry for being a bit late on posting the promised Serial numbers for Vario and Vario-W that have factory installed shims in the lever arms. All Vario's with serial numbers higher than # 1403451 and for Vario-W with serial numbers higher than #1400451 have the factory installed shims. Unfortunately, due to the ridiculous labor slowdown on the West Coast ports, we only received these grinders in our Seattle warehouse on March 2, 2015, so they are only now shipping to end users.

Thanks, Kyle! I'm pretty sure my local favorite shop (Square One in Philadelphia) is a dealer. I'll check with them this morning and (if so) order one when available above the cutoff range. Best regards -

I got my shims in short order but was delayed in getting them in due to travel. I just got them in, it was easy and fast and fixes the issue!!
