Hi All,
So i recently came across this roaster called roast-master rm1.
I have sent an email to the company requesting for more information.
Does anyone here have any experience with the RM1 fluid bed roaster.

Seems like a real good roaster.
But the quote is a bit much for me at the moment, 27k+shipping+tax.
Well hopefully in the future.

I assume you are looking at this for a shop.
I have no experience with the quality and efficiency of a fluid-bed that size vs. standard drum roaster. My sense though is that such a roaster may be a great thing for a setup where you roast small batches up front in view of the customer. The beauty of the fluid bed is you can see what's happening and consumers generally like that sort of thing.

It looks like a bigger Sonofresco but it is expensive for a fluid bed roaster if they ask for $27K. You could get a much better deal with an Artisan 6 fluid bed roaster for example: http://coffeecrafters.com/product/artisan-6/
