I would ad a resetteble thermo switch
And as mentioned , fix the white wire problem

Already took care of it! It was so thin it broke when I was examining the terminal. I bought a new connector for it, wired it, and heat shrank the splice. Good as new!homeburrero wrote:One thing I would do on this machine is clean the terminal and replace the connector on that white wire that goes from the cord directly to the element. It looks like it's burning due to a bad connection there. Hopefully you have enough white wire on the existing cord to do that.
I'll leave it alone. Aside from cosmetically, the machine works fine.
