I have an older Riviera that I recently refurbished. I had bought a second one for parts that was missing the portafilter.
They are the same machine..."Flat Top model." I would like to find a second portafilter to give to my friend who helped me
so he can also have a working machine.
Was recently told by Cara that the Zacconi portafilters don't fit this model and he doesn't have any. Was just hoping someone in
the know could point me in the right direction or possibly sell me a portafilter if they had one laying around... :?

Perhaps you could provide the measurements. Also the Zacconi Workshop is still in operation. They may have one or know a source of vintage portafilters.

Thanks for your responses.

And yes Dr.Gary, measurements would have helped. :)
The portafilter measures 49mm on the ID and 53mm on the OD.

The issue with the newer Zacconi sources is that Chris Cara told me they don't work.
Maybe that is not the case, but that was my intent in posting was to gather more information
beyond that one opinion, before I make that big financial commitment.
Also, was maybe hoping for a long-shot that someone may have one to sell. :)

You can find filter baskets for the older groups but to my knowledge, the portafilters are not available. Contact Zacconi, perhaps they may have some old stock left over.
