I live in Germany and want to purchase a Quick Mill Vetrano espresso machine. They are only available in 220v / 50h here. We are moving back to the states eventually and obviously want to take our new espresso machine with us. I know we can use transformers but that does not solve the hertz problem. The machine is available in the states in 110v so can it be converted later? Or have the acceptable voltage run for the machine? Thank you.

I lived in Germany and ran my Quickmill Alexia with PID and my Mazzer Mini grinder on a transformer there for years without any problems. I also used a timer to turn the transformer on and off throughout the day so that the machine would be ready and warmed up when I needed it.
