My machine wasn't pumping water out of the group head, I over reacted and took machine apart, I took OPV apart and unscrewed the 5mm threaded piece, to see if clogs?....then went on the net, realized I screwed up-long story short I cleaned machine with that califa powder and water is flowing again...all good.

BUT, when I put that 5mm bolt back in the OPV, lord knows WHERE its supposed to be at, and now I read thats where you adjust the pressure? so I need a gauge, where is somewhere I can buy a portafilter with one in it, or a detailed how to on making a gauge?

No other way at this point eh? to set that OPV without gauge?

Thanks

You can adjust the OPV by measuring water flow while backflushing, wil, search for the instructions and see if I can find you some in english

Edit; If you google opv adjustment gaggia classic you get at least three hits that are good, one of them is a youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXoz6Aoykpg

I made my own pressure tester for $14 (including tax) in parts from harbor freight, just run pump until water comes out and then close the valve and wait for pressure to build. It works pretty good, you may have to remove the tray on classic to make it fit. Or you can buy one for $80 if you really want. :D
