I'm closing in on my 50th roast with my Quest and having a great time with it and learning. That said, I plan on a thorough cleaning and painting the drum (cleaning fan blades and the gunk in the bean chute etc). Any recommended methods/cleaners/whatever you do don't do this stories to get it back to that out of the box shine? Thanks!

Soap or any of the coffee cleaners and water, wash using your fingers or a soft cloth, then dry with soft cloth.

Warm water and mild soap will make it look like new without much effort at all. Stuff almost slides off. I put this together a while ago to make the whole process quicker and easier.

Nice!!! Thanks Tom. This is perfect. Only thing I can hope for is good weather to paint the drum.
