Both my Carimali Lever and my two group have threaded screw in type elements. I have never unscrewed them as I don't have a wrench large enough. my larges shifter is just a few mm's shy of fitting . The L1 lever is still running and used occasionally but the two group is in parts and the element is definitely shot.
Thanks guys. I wasn't able to get it out as the area to use a socket wrench on is cast with a slight angle so I will need to remove some of the pipes in that area to get a wrench in there.Tom@Steve'sEspresso wrote:http://www.cafeparts.com/listCategories ... goryID=748

The cafe parts link has something with the right power specs and similar looking design, to top it off there is a carimali part number reference on it. So I will get this thing out and sort it all out.
