Is any coffee grown in Grenada?

My cousin and her husband are visiting from Texas. He spent a little time in Grenada and asked me today if any coffee is grown there. Is there? If so, anybody here roasted any?

Have to say no. Neither Jobin nor Ukers lists Grenada as ever having a coffee industry. There could be some wild plants growing somewhere (they do grow Cacao, so climate isn't a problem) but no organised production.

But Google searching says yes, at least once upon a time in colonial days coffee plantations existed.

I think he lives an hour or so from Houston. I don't think he has a favorite cafe. One of the importers contacted me. It seems there is a bit grown there but is used locally.
