Los Angeles is getting so crowded with good coffee shops, people starting new ones are having to come up with new ways to distinguish themselves from their many peers. Enter Dinosaur Coffee in my old neighborhood of Los Feliz. This is not a tacky theme park interpretation, but a high-design shop that is both beautiful and also serves Four Barrel coffees. Personally, I'm all for inventive designs, as long as they work as well for the customers as the owners.
