Rocket Cellini Evoluzione V2 short circuit / wont turn on

Hi,
I'm having problems with my rocket cellini evoluzione v2.
Usage/maintenance: I've had the machine for 2 years now without problems (had to change a rubber groupring once because of leaking). I use water from a water softener (DVA LT12). I clean the group (backflushing) every +/- 4 weeks and used a descaler agent once or twice for the entire machine. I leave the machine on 24/7 as much as possible but I do turn it on/off about 1-2 times a week.
The problem: I turned the machine off for the weekend, when I turned the machine back on a few days later it apparently short circuited (RCD switch turns off and everything using electricity turns off); it keeps doing this if I turn the machine on.
I'd like to open the espresso machine to see if I can find out what's wrong. Any suggesions or things I should look for?
