Yesterday I came home to a beeping Wega that had run out of water from the reservoir. Turned the machine off, refilled the water and turned it on. Machine heated for about an hour up and went to pressure. Pulled the first shot, steamed some milk, all good. Started pulling the second shot and GFCI tripped. Reset the outlet and it immediately trips when I turn the machine on. Wait a few hours repeat the same process with the same results. Try again a few hours later....same deal.

Anybody have any clue what's going on?

Disconnect your heating element and repeat the procedure. While you have it disconnected, measure the resistance and report same.
