My colleague returned from Africa after charity medical work and gave me this Rwanda 2000 francs (~USD$2.50) bill as souvenir. On the back, coffee!

This bill made me search on the web to see what other currencies have coffee-related themes. Many countries, including Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Mauritius, Nicaragua, Uganda, and Tanzania have currencies with coffee-related themes, although they are mostly coffee plants, leaves, farms, or harvesting scenes. The Rwandan bill is the only one I could find with coffee beans.

Go coffee!

Okay, let's start analyzing what kind of coffee it is and what the best roast profile would be.

Thanks, Henry.

$.74 USD in Nica cordobas. When we were in Nicaragua during Contra War ('89), we exchanged $180 each (4 of us). It took two suitcases to carry it. Monopoly money quality paper.

Sandino, the revolutionary leader ('30s), whom the USMarines chased all over Nicaragua.
