I'm teaching a class called, "Introduction to home roasting" at the LA Coffee Con.

I'd like to put a list of useful books on the handout I'm doing for the class and was looking for suggestions.

I know about Scott's book which is really not so much for beginners. I've long since lost track of the book I read in 82 that sent me down the rabbit hole.

When I was getting started, I enjoyed Ken David's book a great deal. But most of what I've learned about roasting theory, especially regarding the effects of different profiles, came from this forum.

Same here, though I started roasting 20 years before he published that book and I've no idea what book made me think my Popcorn Pumper would be suitable for roasting coffee.

Sweet Maria's - not exactly a book but plenty of pictures and good info.
Probably on you list already.
