Some usage notes:
- 21g coffee and 300g water seems to be a comfortable limit, a.k.a., one mug of coffee.
- with the lid on, the travel press seems to hold temperature better than a regular Espro press. For drinking, I have been either leaving the lid off, bypass brewing with cold water, or decanting the coffee to a separate cup for drinking. I guess that I should get some coffee joulies ...
- de-stratifying the brew is simple - just flip the press upside down a couple times :D
- the pump-for-the-last-drop method works as expected http://www.espressomyespresso.com/espropress.html
- I was thinking that the "paper filtered press coffee" (putting a paper filter between the two Espro press filters) was a bit of a gimmick, but I am finding that I enjoy these cups the most. I guess it could be a form of 'polished immersion brewing.' (I tried to replicate the effect by using an inverted Aeropress, but the cups were different - I guess that the filter papers could be different.)
