Why not use the OEM static screen?

There is always some coffee left and I am using small brush to clean it.If I put the original screen,it is not possible to insert the brush.

I have used the screen as is, not brushable, you are correct, but I have cut out portions of the screen give vertical slots so a brush fits.

All that said I just took the screen out and use my Mazzer as a single doser using RDT. Seems to work fairly well, especially if you can get a blast of air down the throat.
