I've had my Rancilio Silvia v2 for about 5 months now, I bought it used and it came with an auber PID.
Everything was working fine until a couple of days ago. I changed the temp on the PID by mistake and now when I turn the steam switch nothing happens. The temperature stays at 221

I've check all the connections inside and adjusted all everything that was a little loose, but still the same.

anyone know what could be wrong?

If the PID is NOT setup to control steam then check the steam thermostat with an ohm meter. It should be closed at brewing temperature. Let the machine heat up, then unplug it and disconnect the leads connected to the steam thermostat. Check it with the ohm meter. It should read 0 ohms (the contacts should be closed). If they read open then there is the problem.
