Bunn LPG - useful for grinding 1 lb at one go?

Grinders are one of the keys to exceptional espresso. Discuss them here.

I don't see a thread that addresses this question. I am poking about for a bulk grinder to help a startup roaster nearby. Because he wants to grind for customers buying beans my target has been a Bunn G1,2 or 3. Could an LPG grinder be used instead? I think they are designed to grind enough for a pot at a time in the commercial setting.

Thanks.

I had a chance to look at some today and I answered my own question: not useful. There is no grind setting adjustment unless it's under the screwed down cover. I'll keep looking for a Bunn G series.

The grind setting adjustment is a screw underneath, where the ground coffee is expelled. It is not a convenient (or particularly repeatable) adjustment.

Also, the LPG uses a 3 amp motor, the G1 uses a 9 amp. A corollary of that is that the LPG has a timer that I don't believe could be set long enough to grind a pound, I'm assuming to protect the motor. Grinding a pound would almost certainly cause overheating of the unventilated motor.
