umm.. perhaps ... 3rd Oct 59? Mar 10 59 ~~
It seems like the machine was produced in late 50's to early 60's .. Should be able to find out more information once I start to clean up inside of the machine.

Congratulations - beautiful machine, and for that price
I'm sure it is in good hands now...
What puzzles me is, whether there is a classic dipper system or hx?
Is the group from Astoria or something else?
And maybe you'll find some history here: http://www.caldoro.com/index.php/servicekontakt
(If you want, I can make enquiries there in german for you, maybe we can bring some light in Alpinas history)

That is a serious machine when using a pallet jack to maneuver it in place.
Hey, I'll let you use my engine hoist to place it up on your counter for a shot from that beauty.
